Winning a Blackjack game.....

Its not easy to learn a game in a casino...as a person who reached 49 years of existence and had no real experience in gambling even in "sakla"...except "peryaan" playing blackjack is a real "undertaking"...another ...side of undertakings....after attending couple of sessions on "BLACKJACK UNIVERSITY ---(BU)" from Cicus Circus Resort & Casino...I have to try my luck in the real Blackjack table......
I started with the six(6) deck shoe where all cards were distributed on the table showing face-up....you can create a scenario where the best winning cards should be 21....you have to concentrate on your cards and watch -out the dealers cards (face up/showing card)...the indicator for me to hit or stay...or double-down is based on dealers card...so when dealer has card between 2-6 and I am 12-16...by the book, I should not Hit...as the dealer should bust....

Guidelines highlighted to us while attending BU was never split "F's"....FIVE...FOUR...FACE CARDS..and never offend your co-players by spliting 10 & face cards-(jack-king-queen)..but always split eights (8).....

For me...I always look at how many of each cards are shown at a given hand...then use the rule by the book....
LUCKY enough...I enjoy my beginners luck...doubled my cash money as I entered the game..It may not always the case but...thats only the beginning...

Casino life is Gambling....and like anything else...may get into addiction.....I heard someone saying that blackjack & poker is my hobby...not my vices...

"you see if i play golf..i have to buy my gear...how much is the set of clubs? , outfit...golf course fee...caddy..etc...i might end-up throwing thousand of dollars before starting anyway...so what the heck.....

why not use it as my start up capex in blackjack....by playing carefully, i might end-up ahead anyway right?"....

But that is an escape goat...because once you sit on the table of games....its called gambling..following is an advisory to watch-out possible addiction..

NEW CONSTRUCTION IN LAS VEGAS

This year conference is more exciting than last year...where i used to stay on the rooms at night and view some clean funny shows after the conference.....

Strolling the strip this time one can easily notice the booming construction...OVER $35m WOTH OF PROJECTS ARE ON-GOING NOW.......Bellagio...Planet Hollywood...Wynn and a lot more..

While talking with few construction engineers, they highlighted that whats going-on is just a tip of the iceberge..for in the next 5years......new constructions would start where the investors would spend money they never spend in the same place in centuries.......

BLACKJACK.....SWITCH

The only casino (that i visited) that has BLACKJACK SWITCH in Las Vegas is CASINO Royale.

Each table that is designed for blackjack switch is having a two-spot mark, where players have to play two-hand...each players are allowed to switch the second card after the dealer have his/her two cards...if players receive say two face cards on one hand and say 2 Aces in one hand...after switching the second cards players can have 2 blackjack and paid immediately.

Due to high possibilities of the occurences of blackjack players are paid equal to their bet..(unlike regular blackjack that pays 1.5% on blackjack)...
Also the player would be pushed (will not be paid) when dealer got 22...

I had fun playing the blackjack switch during my stay in Las Vegas this time...I often got a face card and a duece(2),..then Ace and nine(9)...when i switch them..i got blackjack then doubles on eleven...chances are either i got a face card and win...some of the times..i got low cards like three(3) but luckily dealer busted....oftentimes...i got Ace and ended having 12 at face card shown with the dealer...

Good thing on my experience in this game is...even blackjack is paid even.....for every time i play i ended up having ahead...or double my cash...

BLACKJACK RESEARCH Studies...

In 1963 an MIT professor named EDWARD THORP ran simulations which showed that the more low cards remaining in the deck or decks, the more the outcome favors the dealer.
The more HIGH Cards remaining , the more it favors the players, (thats over the long run, anyway).
This "Hi-lo system" was used by the MIT blackjack team.They scored sets of cards based on their face value plus or minus a certain number of points...

Like this :
Cards two(2) through six (6) were worth their face PLUS one(1)...
Cards ten (10 ) through Ace were worth their face value MINUS one (1)

Cards seven(7) through nine(9) had a nuetral value of zero...

THE GAME WITH MEMORY....

Blackjack is the only game with memory.When you play craps , your last roll has no effect on the dice on your next roll.....
But in blackjack,when low card---six or lower---is dealt, there is one less low card in the deck, even when the dealing is done from a stack that is six decks deep.
That changes the odds that another similar card will come.Slightly...
